Orient Forest Natural Regional Park

1½ hours to the south east of Paris, Orient Forest Natural Regional Park is a breath of fresh air in the heart of Aube. Nature lovers will be delighted with its forests and three lakes. Walks, swimming, sailing activities, bird watching, visits to timber-frame churches: there is something for everyone here!

Remarkable ecological riches

Twenty thousand hectares of forest, mainly of hornbeam and oak trees, many of which are a hundred years old, create a tremendous green area within the heart of Champagne. Amongst other things, deer and wild boar can be seen in semi-captivity in "Le Parc de vision animalier" park on an 89 ha peninsula.

Throughout the year, Orient Forest Natural Regional Park organises themed outings to help you get to know this vast area of 70,000 hectares with its varied landscape.

Leisure with a sense of freedom

In this natural setting where water constantly vies with the forest, families out walking, solitary bird watchers, water skiing, sailing or windsurfing enthusiasts as well as anglers will each find their little piece of paradise.

On foot or by mountain bike, follow the signposted paths or take the Vélovoie track, watch and listen to the migratory birds in their natural habitat, swim in the clear water of our lakes and recharge your batteries on the beaches that have been created there for your enjoyment. This living space, this natural museum open to the sky, is all yours!
