Lingey Fermenting Room Garden

For travellers using the back road which runs from Lingey to Les Riceys, it’s a complete surprise! The Lingey fermenting room garden is one of the few flower gardens belonging to Aube’s Parks and Gardens Association.

It surrounds a superb 18th century fermenting room, situated beside the Sarce.

Reigning sovereign, roses compose huge banks and low hedges, cover the walls and even lift a stalk above the perennials.Delphiniums, these so special giant blue bell like flowers, are also prominent plants in the fermenting room garden.

But there are single or double, yellow or pink rudbeckias as well, tobacco flowers, penstemons, Oswego tea, phlomis, prunellas, centaurea, veronica ...

In short, a garden like no other!
