Riceys Bas chateau park

A mixture of several building campaigns, Riceys Bas chateau gives no hint of the unity of its traditional garden.

In between two arms of the Laignes, the garden covers twenty hectares and is completely walled.

Symmetrically edged by grass beds surrounded by box, the main path leads to a cathedral of two hundred year old plane trees at the end of the garden.

Water forms part of the composition in the form of a canal and lake, completed with a rock waterfall.
