The Paisy-Cosdon lake, completely renovated in 2014, offers large green spaces perfect for relaxation. Come with your family for a stroll around the lake (accessible with a stroller), an afternoon of swimming, or a picnic. Picnic area, beach, children's play area, fishing (docks accessible to people with reduced mobility)... Supervised swimming is available from July 9th to August 31st, every day except Tuesday, from 1:15 pm to 6:45 pm, within the designated area (shallow end for children and deep end marked by buoys). Dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the play/relaxation area. The decree of June 29, 2025, extended the smoking ban to several public spaces, including beaches. PLAYGROUNDS: Access to other play equipment is free. A designated play area is available for children under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or guardians. For children's safety, please respect the age limits indicated by the pictograms on the play equipment. RECREATION: Open fires are prohibited. Collecting wood and branches is prohibited. Only charcoal barbecues are permitted outside the beach area and play areas. It is strictly forbidden to leave ashes on the grass or in the lake. Picnics are allowed on the lake site except in the beach, snack bar, and play areas. The island, which is a nesting site, is strictly off-limits to everyone. ANIMALS: Access to the swimming, play, and snack areas is strictly prohibited for pets, even on a leash (from the site entrance to the edge of the play area and the end of the main pool). You must use the pedestrian access via the path behind the snack bar and the play area. Swimming is strictly prohibited for all pets anywhere on the site. Category 1 and 2 dogs are permitted on the rest of the site provided they are muzzled and kept on a leash by an adult, in accordance with Law No. 99-5 of January 6, 1999. Vehicle traffic: The play and beach area is strictly prohibited to all vehicles (except emergency and technical services). The fishing area of the lake is accessible only to vehicles belonging to members of the Fishing Association (Amicale Pêche) with their membership card, as well as members of the AAPMA (Association Agréée pour la Pêche et la Protection du Milieu Aquatique). All these users must close the gate after passing through. Traffic must proceed at a slow speed. The use of bicycles, Segways, or any other motorized or non-motorized vehicle is prohibited from May 1st to September 30th. Numerous species inhabit the lake, including roach, tench, zander, pike, perch, carp, black bass, bream, and sturgeon. The Paisy-Cosdon Pond Fishing Association opens the fishing season between the second week of March and the second week of September, from March 9th to September 15th, 2025 (first category fishing).
