Micro adventure in the Clairvaux forest to discover the Champagne truffle

Between vineyards and forests, L’Empreinte des fées offers unique ecotourism experiences. Encircled by the mysterious forest of Clairvaux, the vineyards of the Domaine de Mondeville are Delphine’s and her dog Pino’s favourite playground for their quest for the exciting and whimsical autumn truffle!

Delphine, truffle grower of the domain, invites you to unearth this autumnal diamond. At dawn (no pun intended…), jump into your boots for a game of truffle hunting! After a morning of searching in the forest, where the diamond flirts with oaks, hornbeams and other hazel trees, the return to the estate is rewarded. Depending on the formula chosen, you will enjoy atasting of truffle products and Champagne, or a convivial lunch of truffle based dishes concocted by a local chef, accompanied by Champagnes from the estate! Discover the story of this adventure in the magazine 180°C.

Murder Mystery Party & Bivouac at the château

At the Château de Vaux, visits are punctuated by Escape Games and Murder Mystery Parties. The Murder Mystery Party takes participants back to 1855, when a dark epidemic was ravaging the region… Vidocq and the twenty or so servants on the estate fall ill one after the other. It’s up to the participants to explore the château and its outbuildings to resolve this terrifying investigation and get their hands on the antidote that will save them from certain death! Each team has one hour and thirty minutes to make the potion and get out of the château before the epidemic and Vidocq’s wrath descend upon them! And for those who really want to spend the night in the château… It’s possible, since it recently opened its park to campers! An unusual night ideal for bivouac enthusiasts who like to spend entire nights telling each other scary stories! The part reserved for thrill-seekers and nature lovers is located at the back of the park, the spot offers an incredible view of the château. A small fireplace is available to build a campfire and roast some marshmallows, just to perfect the atmosphere! In 2022, the murder mystery parties will continue during the summer (to be confirmed) and on Halloween. The Escape Game has a new scenario!

Micro adventure in the bucolic Nogentais

We have a great programme for you for a weekend in Nogent-sur-Seine. In the Nogent region the Seine is still wild and on sunny days you can paddle between the willows. After a stroll through the charming town of Nogent-sur-Seine, which was home to the Camille Claudel Museum, we suggest you go back in time to the Age of Enlightenment.

The Château de la Motte-Tilly is set in 62 hectares of parkland. The floral arrangements that decorate each room come from the flower garden. The scents that escape from the garden bring the place back to life and make it seem inhabited again. For the past four years, the Chlorophylle association has been reviving a historic 6,000 m2 vegetable garden that has been converted to organic farming, and has made organic market gardening a lever for the social and professional reintegration of people in precarity. To make the most of these green expanses, treat yourself to a picnic on the grass with the La Rosita restaurant, which prepares small dishes based on products directly from the château’s garden.

For an unusual overnight stay, continue your nature experience at the Aube Reserve. This rather luxurious accommodation offers 3 design units made of wood and glass on the edge of a wood.

Micro wine-cycling adventure with the Richardot Champagne House

Let’s pursue the cycling theme heading for the Côte des Bar. The ever-present stretches of vineyards invite you to adapt your mount… The generous nature of the Ource Valley is in itself an invitation to wine tourism! This is why the Richardot Champagne House offers visitors in search of original tours the opportunity to explore its vineyard by electrically assisted mountain bike! We put our foot down again for a visit of the cellars which ends with the tasting of some nectars.

Whether it’s a half-day or a full day with lunch, everyone can choose their own package. If you are still hesitating, Clara has tested it for you. Let’s discover the story of her trip to the Côte des Bar.

Cycling from Troyes to the green lung of the Aube

The Greenway of the Great Seine and AubeLakes links Troyes to Port-Dienville, on the edge of the Lac Amance. From the city to the Forêt d’Orient Regional Nature Park,, some fifty kilometres of totallysafe and resolutely natural trails wind through fields, lakes and forests. You will successively use dams, rural roads, departmental roads, beaches and forest tracks.

You can make the most of this to take a dip, enjoy water sports (kayaking, kite surfing, sailing…) and discover an unsuspected natural heritage. Recently, the green lane has been extended to allow you to go all the way around the Lac d’Orient thanks to a 25km loop! To prepare your trip, take inspiration from Anna and Max from the blog La Bougeotte Française.
