Saturday, October 25: VILLEMAUR-SUR-VANNE - Discovery walk (7km) and visit to the Maison de la Préhistoire Othéenne. At 2 p.m., meet at the collegiate church parking lot. Discover a local heritage of exceptional value during this journey through time! Discover the mysterious Pierre aux Dix Doigts, a true witness to our prehistoric heritage that still fascinates today with its history and legend. The visit will continue at the Maison de la Préhistoire Othéenne where you can admire a remarkable collection of cut and polished flints, known as the "Dijon Collection," named after its discoverer. The museography of this space was designed by Fabien Langry-François, lithic archaeologist from INRAP, so that the stones reveal their secrets to 21st-century inhabitants. Adeline Toussaint Conseil, president of ARPA, will accompany you during this journey to better understand the lives of these populations, which are thousands of years old. Price: €7 including snack.
