Saturday, May 24: PARGUES - Vivaldi Concert "The 4 Seasons" Mendelson Octet. At the Church at 7 p.m. Marie Charvet, violinist, concert performer, and professor at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, is joined by seven young artists, all from this prestigious higher education institution. Violinists, violists, and cellists, around their 32 strings, offer a sparkling program: first, Felix Mendelson's octet, a work of youth and genius (composed at the age of 16), whose bicentenary we are celebrating this year; then Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons, which celebrate their 300th anniversary this year! Timeless scores that this ensemble of musicians will passionately defend. Followed by a friendly drink. This concert is organized by the association for the preservation and development of the heritage of Pargues and its surroundings. Participation is free
