"Dimanche de caractère" Les mottes castrales

Sunday, July 27: ERVY LE CHÂTEL - As part of "Sundays of Character," guided tours of the castle mounds. A place for walking and playing, the two twin mounds called Les Mottes remain an unsolved enigma. Long interpreted as protohistoric or Celtic burial mounds or tombs, they have only more recently been described as feudal mounds. Come discover the history of this wooded site and taste cider, apple juice, and Ervy cheeses on site. Meet at 10:30 a.m. at the foot of Les Mottes, Chemin latéral à la Voie.
