Built around a solid steeple of stone in the 12th century the building is composed externally of a large nave, a transept and a chancel. Inside the nave, supported by 6 pillars, is flanked by 2 collaterals. The chancel delimited by a 5-sided apse is surmounted by a radiant vault with 6 branches of warheads, liernes and tiercerons. The main alter and alterpieces dedicated to the Virgin and to Sainte Beline, are the work of Jean-Baptiste Bouchardon. There are 13 stained glass windows dating from the 19th and 20th century.

The absence of unity of style of the building reflects the many changes it has undergone over the centuries. From the original 12th century church only the bell tower remains. The chancel and transept were rebuilt in the 16th century and the nave and collaterals in the 18th.The building is classified Historical Monument in 1989.
