It was rebuilt on the foundations of the old building, which was probably the chapel of the former château (1398), of which the old feudal motte still remains, surrounded by its moat.
The church is still surrounded by its cemetery and a few ancient graves.
During your visit, you'll notice how close it is to the new 19th-century Tudor-style château, whose owners took charge of rebuilding the shell and interior decoration of the building at the time.

Highlights and special features of the church:
The church features a harmonious ensemble of 19th-century murals, stained glass and statuary "in its original state". There are also 16th-century statues and beautifully crafted stained glass windows. The only listed item is a lectern dating from 1528, bearing the coat of arms and statue of the donor, Curé Huyard.
