Wooden hall of Brienne

Since 1270, as early as the first Counts of Brienne, the existence of the market hall has been mentioned in writing. This building is composed of old wooden pillars that support a vast roof. Around 1760, the Lords of Brienne decided to destroy the surrounding dwellings to facilitate access.
