The Rashi European University Institute opened its doors in 1989. This higher education institution is a university center for Hebrew studies and research open to all.

Weekly and fortnightly courses are offered throughout the year in Jewish history, philosophy and thought, and in Arabic and Hebrew.
You can discover the full range of courses as well as their calendar on this page: http://institut-rachi-troyes.fr/fr/cours-magistraux/

Monthly and bimonthly seminars are led by world-renowned specialists in their discipline and field of research. They allow a wide public to discover general themes, as far as introductory seminars are concerned, and to deliver specific teaching through more refined scientific interventions, for bachelor and master students, within the framework of the validation of their diplomas, giving them the opportunity to validate a singular component capable of highlighting their curriculum and their skills.

Conferences are held monthly, mainly on Thursday evenings, throughout the year and are aimed at a wider audience. The major conferences of the Institut Rachi or those organized in partnership with the Médiathèque du Grand Troyes, allow the general public to discover and familiarize themselves with themes related to Judaism, and more generally to the dialogue between cultures and religions. Entrance is free of charge.

Symposia and study days are organized on an ad hoc basis, with a view to creating and strengthening links and partnerships with universities and regional, national and international institutions.
