European Heritage days in Grands Lacs de Champagne

This year, focus on architectural heritage!

On September 20 & 21, celebrate heritage all over Europe with the European Heritage Days! This year, the theme is architectural heritage. Take the opportunity to (re)discover the heritage of the Great Lakes of Champagne! - On the program - Friday 19: - At 6 p.m.: Conference "Heritage preservation and the role of museums" at 6 p.m. at the Napoleon Museum by Gilles AUBAGNAC. - From 7 p.m.: Discovery walk in the clearing and in the forest with free access (7 p.m.), guided tour of the remains of the cloister of the Old Abbey (7:30 p.m.), introduction to wild and edible plants (8 p.m.) and Novastella show (9 p.m.) at the Abbey of Basse Fontaine in Brienne-la-Vieille. Saturday 20 & Sunday 21: - From 9am to 6pm - Self-guided tour of the Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens church in Brienne-la-Vieille. - From 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6pm - Free audio-guided tours of Brienne-le-Château, Soulaines-Dhuys and Dienville. Audio guides can be collected from the tourist office. Please note that audio guides must be returned before the tourist office closes at 6pm. - From 10am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 6pm - Self-guided tour of the Napoleon Museum in Brienne-le-Château. - From 10am to 6pm - Visit of the medieval part of the Château de Vendeuvre-sur-Base (departures every 30 minutes with a maximum of 10 people per group) and activities for children on site. - From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Exhibition "The statuary of Vendeuvre: a paradise rediscovered" at the Saint-Pierre church in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse. Quiz for young people and guided tours on request. - From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Self-guided and guided tour of the Saint-Pierre church in Vendeuvre-sur-Barse Saturday 20 only: - From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Exhibition "Fuligny, a village in the 19th century" at the Fuligny town hall (1 rue du Moulin).
