The town of Brienne-le-Château and the Friends of the Napoleon Museum association are organizing another historical lecture in the museum's chapel. This year's event will focus on the lives of soldiers. The lecture will be led by Catherine Tartre, a member of the Aube Academic Society. The audience will be invited to delve into the lives of soldiers of the Year II of the French Revolutionary Calendar and veterans of the French Revolutionary War. Far removed from grand strategic narratives and Victory bulletins, Catherine Tartre offers a human perspective to explore what it truly meant to wear a uniform between 1792 and 1815.
