Les Chouettes

Les Chouettes (The Owls) was previously used as the milking shed when La Ferme des Tourterelles was a working dairy farm. During its recent renovation, the front wall downstairs has been left to the original limestone wall repointed to show the beauty of the stone with inset oak lintels thus retaining the character of years gone by. Upstairs, the floor is constructed from warm looking hardwood flooring.

In the large sitting room, a wood burner nestles in the chimney place providing additional heat and ambience if you so desire. There is a separate, well equipped kitchen with dining room making it a convivial place to cook and eat together. There is large gas range with electric oven. The windows open up onto the courtyard which provides wafts of scent of the roses and honeysuckle when in bloom.

There are two large bedrooms with a king size bed, satellite TV and ensuite bathroom/shower room. One is on the ground floor and has it's own front door which we call L'Ecurie. The second large bedroom is on the first floor with double aspect windows. There are two large bedrooms with twin beds, both large enough for a third single bed to be set as requested. These twin rooms chare a shower room with sink and WC (shower 1.2m x 0.8m) as well as a wash room with sink and WC, both accessed from the corridor.

To the side of the cottage is a large terrace with wood garden furniture and parasol which may be accessed directly from the courtyard or dining room...
