Saturday, September 20: VILLEMAUR-SUR-VANNE - Tools and techniques that span the ages, European Heritage Days. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 35 Route Nationale, Villemaur-sur-Vanne. About: Come and discover the exhibition of cut and polished flints “René Dijon” through a guided tour of the collection. You will be able to attend activities around the theme of the tool: permanence of techniques and materials, from Prehistory to the present day, as well as a demonstration of Neolithic techniques. The House of Othéenne Prehistory is a brand new permanent exhibition space, dedicated to a remarkable collection of cut and polished flints, bequeathed by a passionate collector to the ARPA association. The museography of this space was designed by an expert archaeologist from Inrap. The space is open from June to October by the association's volunteers.
