Magie de la harpe

Sunday, October 19: ERVY-LE-CHATEL - Magic of the harp. At 5 p.m. at the Saint-Pierre-es-liens church. The musical return of the association Les Orgues de St Pierre d'Ervy is announced with a qualitative program of three concerts on: October 19, November 16 and December 12, 2025. Participation will be free and we hope to see many of you at the autumn concerts, where we will be happy to welcome Julien MARCOU, his harp and his great talent. Julien Marcou discovered the harp at the age of six when he heard the Boieldieu concerto performed by Lily Laskine and began his apprenticeship at the National School of Music of St Etienne. He will work under the guidance of Béatrice Guillermin, Sylvie Perret, Geneviève Letang, Catherine Michel, Germaine Lorenzini and Emmanuel Ceysson, soloist of the Los Angeles orchestra. Julien Marcou is a prizewinner of international competitions in Belgium (Felix Godefroid Competition) and Japan (Nippon Harp Competition) as well as the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. Harpist in the Republican Guard Orchestras from 2003 to 2008, he regularly performs in major operatic and symphonic ensembles under the baton of the greatest conductors.
