Pavillon Henri IV

Place of temporary exhibitions and major element of the local heritage, the Pavillon Henri IV seems to have existed for a long time.According to the tradition it was built around 1530. The researches during the restoration works in 2000 place the construction during the second half of the 16th century. At that time Henri IV was gaining over the French Kingdom. According to a legend the king is supposed to have met in secret his beautiful lover Gabrielle d’Estrée in this house. Every year the Pavillon Henri IV displays a program of much diversified exhibitions with the cooperation of associations and local artists.
