With its Orient Lake, Aube is a superb playground for kitesurfers with its 5 spots located in the heart of the Orient Forest Regional Nature Park. Kitesurfing is a trendy and exciting sport that is as impressive for the practitioner as it is for the spectator.

So, are you ready to kitesurf in the Aube?

What is kitesurfing?

Kitesurfing (2)

Also known as windsurfing, flysurfing or kiteboarding, kitesurfing is a sliding sport that consists of being pulled on a board attached to a kite on the water by the wind. It is therefore practiced on bodies of water (reserved for kitsurfing to avoid any risk of collisions with swimmers or other water sportsmen) at times when the wind is out. Indeed, kitesurfing requires suitable take-off sites to allow the kitesurfer to unroll his line on the ground without danger to himself or others.

Areyou a beginner and want to try this sport? Go to a kitesurfing school to acquire the basics and the skills to practice this sport on your own later on. Are you a spectator? Stay away from the kiteboarders to avoid any danger. To find out more about kitesurfing in Aube en Champagne, contact the two kitesurfing associations in the area:
