The Pays d’Other and Armance flavour trail
Discover the flavours and colours of our region… This agro-tourist trail brings together some twenty farmers from the Pays d’Othe and Armance who produce, process and sell their produce directly on their farms. By signing the quality charter, the producers commit themselves to: – Promoting local products: tastings, visits, events, etc. – Upon farm visits: to offer visitors a simple, friendly and personalised welcome. So as to identify the producers committed to this approach, an outdoor sign is displayed on their establishment, showing the products on offer and the trail’s logo (the “U” in the word “Saveurs” stands for the mouth of delights and the smile of a welcome).
AIX-VILLEMAUR-PALIS
The Pays d’Othe is a region of wooded hills, located 150 km from Paris. Administratively divided between the departments of Aube and Yonne, the Pays d’Othe is a region with an original appearance that lies between the chalky Champagne and the humid Champagne parts.
In the heart of this rural area, there is a large number of small producers who will be pleased to welcome you to share their know-how, their love of their land and, of course, their products (ciders, honeys, cheeses, beers, flour, etc.). These unique encounters contribute to the good memories of a stay in Aube en Champagne.
In the Villemanaur-sur-Vanne collegiate church, you can see an impressive wooden rood screen carved 500 years ago.

ERVY LE CHATEL

Ervy-le-Châtel is the first town in the Aube to be awarded the “Petite Cité de caractère” label since 2014. Proudly displayed by 150 rural towns of less than 6000 inhabitants, this national label highlights a remarkable heritage that has been preserved and enhanced. But the town did not want to stop there. Since 14 December 2015, Ervy-le-Châtel has also become the first “Village of Tradition” in France.

CHAOURCE
Chaource is located at equal distance from Troyes and Tonnerre (28 km) and at the foot of the Côte des Bars (20 km from Bar-sur-Seine and Les Riceys). Nestled at the foot of the Aumont forest, it is a charming region that offers many opportunities for green tourism enthusiasts and amateurs of historical monuments. Its Saint Jean-Baptiste church, dating from the 12th century and reworked in the 16th century, is home to some exceptional treasures: a superb tombstone made by the “Master of Chaource”, jewel of the church and masterpiece of the Trojan school of sculpture of the 16th century, a gilded wooden cot, work of sculptors of the Trojan school, a monumental organ of the 17th century, a very rich and classified statuary, several very well preserved wooden altarpieces, a fresco and a treasure trove containing artifacts.
