Temple lake represents 2,000 hectares of calm water, squeezed into a protected natural environment.
It's a kingdom of fishing and small sailing boats which happily coexist with the many species of bird that nest round the margins of the lake. Silence reigns, only disturbed by the splash of oars or the cry of a coot.
