A synthesis of religious architecture from the 13th to the 17th centuries. One of the largest in France. The portal of the north transept, called “the beautiful portal” is particularly worthy of note. A rose window ten metres in diameter (15th century) with four small roses. A number of stained-glass windows including the “Mystical Winepress” by Linard Gontier (1625). Stalls and great organ from Clairvaux Abbey. Beautiful statues. Treasury (St. Bernard of Clairvaux’s shrine).
