Aix-Villemaur-Pâlis
Departure: Pâlis The school: the 17th century premises being dilapidated and too small for an ever-increasing number of students, the municipal council decided in 1880 to build a new Town Hall-School on Place Gambetta in the center of the village. The building was built in brick by the Gauthey-Fromont company of Pâlis. Its facade faces south and its roof is dominated in the center by a bell tower.
