The Church of Eaux-Puiseaux was built between 1853 and 1864 on the Trots hill, between Eaux and Puiseaux, facing north. The church's simple design creates a striking sense of grandeur for visitors. Two chapels flank the chancel: one dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the other to Saint Nicholas, which once housed two remarkable 19th-century statues from the Vendeuvre "Sainterie" (Saint Vincent and Saint Nicholas). The contemporary stained-glass windows were created between 2014 and 2015 by Flavie Vincent-Petit, a master glassmaker in Troyes, to replace those destroyed in the 1999 storm. They depict the theme of the origin of the world, "The Creation." The artist's aim was to capture the essence of the Pays d'Othe and Eaux-Puiseaux region, creating a collaborative work. The concept was to involve the local community in the project. The residents were able to participate by contributing photos and objects. In the choir, the five bays depict the creation of the cosmos. In the transept is the bay of Adam and Eve, and directly opposite, the bay of the Word (the Word of God). In the nave, we find the creation of animals and plants, the fauna and flora of Eaux-Puiseaux and the Aube region, collected by the residents and interpreted by the artist. These include plants from the forest, the orchard, the vegetable garden, medicinal plants, and fields (cereals, etc.).
