Ferme du champ Collin |
A small, family-run farm in the Aube region, covering 70 hectares, primarily cultivates cereals but has always also raised poultry for direct sale. They have established a free-range poultry operation, feeding the birds with grain produced on the farm, and selling their products both on the farm and at a few local markets. The cereals are grown using sustainable and responsible methods: little to no chemical fertilizers, very rich chicken manure, and minimal or no fungicide or insecticide treatments. This is only possible thanks to the farm's long-standing commitment to cultivating disease-resistant heritage varieties, late sowing dates, and mechanical weeding. As for the poultry, the breeds are chosen for their hardiness and slow growth, making them much less fragile.
