August 9, 10 and 11: CUSSANGY - Cussangy Performing Arts Festival, “Words and beyond”. Contact: hussenetarlette@gmail.com Before the festival (August 7-9): - Introduction to puppetry (children) by the company l'Une et l'Hôte (Chaource). Workshop and preparation of interventions targeted by children, which will then take place during the festival, before each show/entertainment, in order to create links between generations. Friday August 9: 6:30 p.m.: Opening of the festival. Opening of the Agnès Fabe and Naty exhibition in the Cussangy church. Sculptor based in Aube, Agnès Fabe presents clay body sculptures, which will resonate with the magnificent church of Cussangy. Naty, a painter from Troyes, draws his inspiration from the heart of his emotions. His works, intuitively inspired, accompany him like music to the rhythm of colors, materials, movements. 8:30 p.m.: Theater, village hall: marriage, according to N. Gogol by the Chat-Peau d’Ource company. (MJC de Chaource). Directed by Louise Putov. For the third year in a row, the MJC de Chaource troupe will present an ambitious work at the Cussangy Living Arts Festival, based on the comedy “The Marriage” by the famous Ukrainian author Nicolas Gogol. Saturday August 10: 5 p.m.: Children's show, Village Hall: Swann in the land of nursery rhymes, Compagnie Anacrouse (Troyes). Accompanied by different instruments (guitar, piano, xylophone, percussion, etc.) Anacrouse invites you on musical journeys told and sung. Rediscover your favorite nursery rhymes through this show combining live songs and shadow projection. 7 p.m.: Meal (in partnership with Champignons de Cussangy). 8:30 p.m.: Song show, church: Les Eaux Sauvages, the Hall of Song. 15 years ago, in 2009, Anne Sylvestre came to present her show “Bêtes à bon Dieu” in the church of Cussangy, as part of the festival in Othe, accompanied by the Hall de la Chanson. We would like to pay tribute to him with this show dedicated to his work. Sunday August 11: 12 p.m.: Open-air open stage. Participatory meal. Following the very positive experience of the 2023 edition, we are once again offering this space for sharing texts, songs, poems or any other artistic expression, around a shared buffet. 3 p.m.: Folk Ball with Folkafon. Initiation followed by a ball. Folkafon is a Trojan association offering balls and introduction to contemporary traditional dances and music. The opportunity to end the festival on a festive and friendly note.
