Friday, May 1st: CHAOURCE – May Day Fair. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the market square. The unmissable May Day Fair returns just as you love it: popular, festive, lively, and vibrant! The association is once again committed to offering great deals. This will be the perfect opportunity for visitors to discover the diverse stalls showcasing a wide range of local and regional products, as well as unique handcrafted creations from our loyal vendors. The May Day Fair is much more than just a commercial event: it's a celebration of the region, its economic dynamism, and its cultural heritage. It's also an opportunity for residents and visitors to come together, share joyful moments, and create unforgettable memories. Take advantage of this opportunity to connect with passionate professionals and find solutions tailored to your needs. The May 1st Fair will once again feature the Chaource cheese-eating contest, the decorated bicycle competition and parade, the marching band and majorette parade, and many other activities. This year, the May 1st Fair is partnering with the 2026 National Cause initiative, setting up a mental health hub, led in particular by UNAFAM, focusing on prevention, information, and public engagement.
