Saturday, April 11: AIX-EN-OTHE - Health Forum. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the multi-purpose hall. Health Forum - Learning about cancer in a different way - Prevention, support, and information. The Association des Petites Herbes is organizing a Health Forum dedicated to information, well-being, and support for people facing cancer. A day focused on prevention and support. Aimed at families, caregivers, elected officials, and healthcare professionals, this day will be dedicated to prevention, support, and listening, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Because being informed is essential—without being a source of anxiety—this day has been designed to allow everyone to better understand the disease, to share freely, and to find resources tailored to their needs. Nearly 30 partners (associations, healthcare professionals, and institutions) will be involved to make this day a powerful moment of information and solidarity. Learn, discover, share. Throughout the day, the public will be able to: - Exchange with the partners involved - Attend thematic conferences led by professionals - Participate in practical and interactive workshops - Discover an association village - Take time for themselves, at their own pace. Conferences: - 10:30 am – 11:30 am: Better daily nutrition – Océane Milot, dietician - 11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Lymphedema – Patricia Mauroy, RKS physiotherapist - 1 pm - 2 pm: A therapist, what for? - Nadine Husse, psychotherapist - 2 pm – 3 pm: Getting Moving Every Day – Jérémie Vandevelde, physical trainer Workshops: - Breathing Better: 2 pm - 2:30 pm - Laughter Yoga: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm - Percussion Workshop: 3 pm – 4 pm and 4 pm – 5 pm The day will conclude with a festive percussion session led by percussionist NouzB. The objectives of this day: - To restore balance to body and mind - To encourage every small victory - To support oneself and not go it alone Food will be available on site.
