Gravel - VTT Circuit des Forêts

Route No. 1 - 20 km - 150m elevation gain - 1 hour 45 minutes - very easy. Starting from the church in Chaource and its famous Entombment of Christ, set off along farm tracks through the cultivated and livestock plains before entering the largest forest in the department. Along the way, admire the Armance River, the beautiful oak trees of our forests, the heritage site of Les Poteries, the Jean Beugnon Arboretum, and the Cordelière Golf Course. Keep your eyes peeled; you might spot deer, wild boar, or foxes, which are plentiful in the area. The mountain bike center is open year-round except during the general hunting season, from mid-September to early March (a period defined annually by prefectural decree, available at the town hall).
