Route No. 2 - 9 km - 60 m elevation gain - 45 min - very easy. Did you know that Chaource is also the name of a cheese with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)? This very accessible route takes you around the birthplace of this cheese, the village of Chaource, where the green meadows allow for the production of high-quality milk. If you would like to learn more about the production of Chaource cheese, you will find the last remaining artisanal cheese factory near the route. Enjoy! The mountain bike center is open year-round except for the general hunting season, which runs from mid-September to early March (a period defined each year by prefectural decree, available at the town hall).
