Bronze sculpture from a cast of the original work by Joseph- Marius Ramus, dating from 1872 and housed in the Musée St Loup.
It depicts a young shepherd fishing.
A young girl at his side, trying to catch the fish at the end of the line.
The bronze was made by Jean-Maurice Célérier, an Aubois bronze-maker based in Vulaines.
