La Maison de la Préhistoire |
Long before being drawn by cider and rolling hills, it was the region's rich geological subsoil, abundant in iron ore and flint, that attracted prehistoric populations to settle in the Pays d'Othe. The Maison de la Préhistoire Othéenne (House of Othe Prehistory) was created to display a remarkable collection of worked and polished flint tools, known as the "Dijon Collection," named after its discoverer. OPEN: - From April to October (spring break to autumn break). - Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 2:30 pm to 5 pm (run by ARPA volunteers). - Occasionally during special events at surrounding cultural venues (see the detailed schedule on our website: https://arpa.s2.yapla.com/fr/mpo). We welcome school groups and other groups by appointment throughout the year (reservations and information by email only).
