La Maison de la Préhistoire |
Long before being attracted by cider and gentle hills, it was for its geological subsoil rich in iron ore and flint that prehistoric populations came to settle in Pays d'Othe. The Maison de la Préhistoire Othéenne was born from the desire to exhibit a remarkable collection of cut and polished flints, called the "Dijon Collection", named after its discoverer. OPEN: - Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. (by ARPA volunteers) - occasionally during special events in surrounding cultural venues (see the precise calendar on our website https://arpa.s2.yapla.com/fr/mpo). We welcome school groups and groups all year round by appointment (Reservations and information at 06 89 14 33 40).
