The Medieval Festival of Ervy-le-Châtel returns for an exceptional 12th edition on August 1st and 2nd, 2026, with a powerful and original theme: "Women in Medieval Times." The program features unique shows and exceptional artists: - La Compagnie du Gras Jambon: A festive and quirky medieval rock concert, where modern energy meets the sounds of yesteryear. Humor, power, and good cheer guaranteed! - Élise Humbert: A captivating immersion into the medieval and Celtic world with a concert of 100% original creations – an exclusive not to be missed. - Les Vagabondes: "The Spirits of the Forest," a poetic and dreamlike show where stilts, acrobatics, and fantastic creatures bring the legends of the enchanted woods to life. - Centaur of Time: An epic equestrian show blending elegance, chivalry, and a medieval world – spectacular and cinematic visuals. - The Last Amazons: An explosive choreographed performance combining dance, art, and fire for a spectacular and captivating immersion. - The Wordsmith: A fascinating slam poetry lecture on the role of women in the Middle Ages, weaving together history, poetry, and emotion. The Medieval Festival also guarantees an unforgettable family weekend: - Creative Workshops: Expérience Terre invites children (and adults!) to create their own medieval coat of arms using clay modeling. Each piece, stamped "The Medieval Festival of Ervy-le-Châtel," will leave with its creator as a unique souvenir of this year's event. - Medieval Games to have fun, compete, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the era. - A lively medieval market: artisans, merchants, and entertainment recreate the vibrant atmosphere of fairs of yesteryear. - A grand medieval feast on Saturday evening: a gourmet meal, lively music, and entertainment for a convivial and memorable evening under the stars.
