Lili, la dame au chapeau

Lili - Quai des comtes de Champagne Work by Andras Lapis

Nicknamed Lili au chapeau, this sculpture was created by Hungarian artist Andras Lapis, whose favorite theme seems to be ladies in hats.

A similar statue stands at the foot of the Hungarian Institute in Paris.

Our Trojan Lili is sitting on a bench, leafing through a book on the Counts of Champagne.
She is in bronze and measures 1.25m.
She has become a must-see for photographers passing through Troyes.
