Discover a unique company in the heart of the Forêt d'Orient Regional Natural Park! Located in the former pottery village of Amance, the Drouilly Pottery and Tile Works perpetuates an extraordinary expertise. This family business, which has been operating since 1892, specializes in decorative outdoor pottery, architectural ceramics, and tile making. These pieces are handcrafted using traditional techniques and machinery. Their production caters to both individuals and businesses seeking authenticity. The company notably produces architectural tiles and ceramics for historical monuments! Committed to tradition, they also produce a tile typical of the Aube region: the violin tile. A unique model that few still know how to make! The clays used come from their own quarry, located just a few meters from the workshop. They are then fired at 1180°C to produce robust, high-quality tiles and pottery. In total, nearly six different manufacturing methods are used to create all these products, always with the same passion! You can visit the workshop during our opening hours and explore the shop where you'll find examples of our products: outdoor pots, ollas in various sizes and colors, tiles, ridge tiles, wine racks, roofing accessories, and more. You can also order products online. Guided tours are available for groups by reservation only.
