Presented by the Sangs Mêlés company, this show is suitable for children aged 8 and up when accompanied by their families, and for children aged 12 and up in non-family groups. NOVASTELLA is a performance of music and words enhanced by the presence of the starry sky. It is the confession of a solitary and nocturnal being, an astronomer haunted by the death of stars. Following a heartbreak, the renowned astrophysicist spends every night awaiting the singular appearance of a Supernova, the luminous ghost of a star that died hundreds of millions of years ago. Comfortably seated in deck chairs, the spectators—listeners—are captivated by the ethereal music, the hallucinatory narrative, and the beauty of the Milky Way watching over them. Lulled by the sounds and images, they float between dream and reality until the denouement, a finale that would not be out of place in the works of the masters of illusion.
