Sunday, April 26: LES LOGES-MARGUERON - A Sunday in the Countryside. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Crogny Forestry School. For 30 years, this grand day, organized by Terres & Vignes de l'Aube, has celebrated rural life and those who bring our land to life. And this anniversary year promises to be more joyful than ever! Exhibition of forestry equipment. Workshop on operating forestry machinery and driving simulators (led by students). Archery. Storytelling walk led by a mysterious resident of the grounds: departures every 45 minutes for a 25-minute walk. Demonstration of competitive lumberjacking (limping events, chainsaw carving) by the Crogny Lumberjack Club. Forester's escape game. Demonstrations by tree climbers and pruners. Workshop on chainsaw chain sharpening, tour of the educational workshops. Gift basket games (fee applies) with a wood theme (calculating the volume of a log, botanical identification, and tree measurement). Five senses workshop, led by students. Land art, quizzes, and memory games for children, led by students. Market featuring local producers and woodworkers. Visit to Crogny Castle, its history, and its renovation starting in summer 2026. Games for all ages about the forest, nature, and the environment, led by E-graine. Sound walk in the arboretum with forest sounds, led by students. Welcome at the Jean Beugnon Arboretum and presentation of the Pierre Stoltz educational trail association. 10-minute pony rides (fee applies).
