Guided tour of Brienne castle and conference

Are you familiar with the one nicknamed the "Little Versailles of the Aube"? Visit part of the Château de Brienne with the ASPB and enjoy a unique lecture.

Come and discover the Château de Brienne, nicknamed the "Little Versailles of the Aube," on a guided tour with the Brienne-le-Château Heritage Preservation Association. The program includes a guided tour of the ground floor and the exterior, revealing all the secrets of this incredible residence, a jewel of the second half of the 18th century. Please note that the château has retained some of its original furnishings and decorations despite significant alterations: these tours focus on the history of the building and its architecture. Three tours depart at 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:00 PM. The tour lasts approximately one hour. Once the guided tours are over, at 6:00 PM, you can enjoy the lecture: "The Orient of the Crusades and the Exceptional Destiny of Jean de Brienne" by Annick Lecerc, a national lecturer since 1991, project manager at the Louvre Museum until 2016, and lecturer at the École du Louvre until 2013. Specializing in Islamic art, she will recount the life of Jean de Brienne as a crusader and his status as King of Jerusalem and then Latin Emperor of Constantinople. Practical information: - Access to the château is via the Bauffremont driveway, and the tour departs from the foot of the château. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before the start of the tour. - Parking is available in the driveway.
