Guided tours of Brienne castle

Discover Brienne Castle as you've never seen it before! The Brienne Heritage Conservation Association offers four dates for visiting the Little Versailles of Aube.

What if you set off to discover this emblematic building of Brienne-le-Château? Exceptionally, the castle opens its doors to visitors to reveal all its riches but especially its history. Four dates are proposed: - Saturday July 19 - Saturday August 23 - Saturday September 13 - Saturday October 18 On each date, three departures are possible: 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The visit lasts approximately 1 hour and presents part of the castle. Please note, the castle has retained elements of furniture and decor despite major modifications: these are visits focused on the history of this building as well as its architecture. Also enjoy other activities with free admission from 6 p.m.: - July 19: As part of the 9th Festival des Lacs d'Orient in Champagne, concert by Clotilde Lacroix (cello) and Akino Kamiya (Percussionist), Members of the orchestra "le Balcon" around a register of chamber music and electro acoustic music. During the visit of the castle in the afternoon, enjoy musical interludes with Jacques Bernaert on the cello. - August 23 & September 13: Conference "Meeting around the costume of the 18th century" by Anaïs Mérat, seamstress and costume historian. - October 18: Choral concert by the ensemble "Ad Libitum" (Popular titles in French and English). Registration is required at the Tourist Office of the Grands Lacs de Champagne, and access to the castle will be from Avenue de Bauffremont, 15 minutes before each departure. #visitchateauBLC
